About this artwork
En esta obra, busqué capturar esa mezcla única de serenidad y fuerza interior que emana la figura femenina. Con óleo, logré un realismo vibrante donde cada pincelada transmite emoción y profundidad. Quise que la mirada transmitiera esperanza y misterio, invitando a quien la observe a conectar con sus propios sentimientos. Esta pintura llenará cualquier espacio con una energía calmada pero intensa, llena de vida y sensibilidad. Es mi ultimo retrato…
y siento que a veces de tantas obras que los artistas hacemos, esta especial, puse mucho de mi en ella, mucho de lo que yo siento en este momento, fuerza y a la vez calma, esperando como muchos aquello que pueda llegar pero que a la vez siento esta muy cerca. Les dejo la duda, para que Uds tambien sientan lo que esta pintura les trasmite, pues asi son las imagenes del alma, nos conectan! Espero les guste!!

Martha Escondeur is an award-winning painter and sculptor based in Uraguay whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the Netherlands and Spain. Many of her pieces relate to the human being and are a translation of their experiences and emotions. Escondeur endeavors to capture what she observes in the "other", whether visible, clear, or subtle. In addition, symbolic meaning is often imbued her composition's narratives. She creates using oils, acrylics, and gilding on canvas.
