About this artwork
HAPPINESS IS EASY
The idea for this new series came about in 2021 when the artist was reading a long-running (75 year) Harvard University study on “being happy”.
Each of us defines happiness differently. For some it's a fancy car, for others it's love or a bulging bank account. In fact, people only need one thing to be happy: relationships, no matter what form. Nothing makes us happier than a close bond with another human being. This gave rise… to the idea of an abstract series of works that depict different emotional worlds in a close connection. The works are numbered and unnamed to allow the viewer to make an emotional decision.
The HAPPINESS IS EASY series will include 5 works.
HAPPINESS IS EASY Vol II
Material: Oil on Canvas, Sterling Silver Paper 999, Imitation Gold.
Please bear in mind that Silver is oxidizing which is part of the conceptual transformation of this painting.
