About this artwork
INCEPTION
With this work, the artist describes the process of an object in dissolution that was previously dominated by life. The motif, composed in a multiple exposure, describes the deconstruction of the events and memories that are tied to this place and opens up possibilities to integrate one's own memories through the intangibility of the space.

« My work is dedicated to deciphering chance and intention. »
Martin Ecker is a painter and photographer based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally. He cites space, time, and light playing a role in almost all of his compositions. In addition, Ecker's artistic practice favors experimentation with reactive processes and approaches. He has developed his own methods using living organisms in analog photography and also employs oxidation processes of precious metals his paintings.
