About this artwork
Martin visited the fairy pools on the beautiful Isle of Skye, Scotland in May 2019. This visit inspired a number of paintings, including this one of a warterfall and the mountains in the distance.

Martin Evans is an artist based in the United Kingdom whose works have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions in England. Predominately a landscape painter, his art is influenced and inspired by living in northern England near the picturesque lake district. Evans simply wants to document the world as he sees it. His atmospheric and expressive compositions are created using acrylics and oil pastels on canvas.
