A car drifts through an empty intersection, its headlights cutting through streaks of neon and shadow. The city hums in the background - blurry, bright, indifferent. But the real drama lies closer: a single director’s chair lies toppled in the street. No figure, no crew, no camera. Just the lingering presence of something or someone that was meant to be in control.
The title hints at a story abruptly ended. The painting suspends the viewer in a… scene where authority has fled and the frame is left to unravel itself.
