About this artwork
Colors dance, shapes bounce and dots celebrate their own little party – playtime is an invitation to look at the world with curious eyes for a moment.
In vibrant shades of pink, red, and blue, a joyful interplay of circles, planes, and transparent layers unfolds. New details, hidden connections, and surprising contrasts are constantly revealed. This is precisely what makes the work so vibrant: it changes with every glance and tells a new story each… time.
Playtime radiates lightness, creativity, and joie de vivre. The artwork brings energy to any room, adds a vibrant splash of color, and simultaneously creates an atmosphere full of optimism and inspiration. Whether in the living room, the office, or a modern practice – this piece of art draws attention and lends the space a positive, playful dynamism.
I primarily work with acrylic paint and mixed media to create abstract compositions consisting of multiple layers and textured surfaces. My process involves combining paint with texture pastes, gels, and paper collage elements, allowing the surface to gradually evolve through accumulation and transformation. Nature and the universe are important sources of inspiration for my work. I am interested in the complexity and diversity of natural structures and in how organic forms emerge and interact. Through layering and texture, I strive to create visual spaces that suggest growth, movement, and transformation. Color plays a central role in my paintings. I use bold and vibrant tones to create depth and energy and to allow the traces of each layer to remain visible. I live and work in Stuttgart.
