As in the cinema, in life, the end is drawn in small touches, or slams into a surprise, just as it can come abruptly, interrupting the story for no apparent reason except chance, fate.
As in some movies, the ending is unclear. It leaves room for everyone's imagination. But the word end fits for whom? The question is asked by this statue. Is this the end of the earth? Is… this the end of the beings that inhabit it, represented here by rodents? Is this the end of an individual, of a living being?
Will rodents get the better of their prey, rushing into a superb collective suicide?
The end of some, the end of others, the end of everything, does the end exist?
What is the end?
And shouldn't the one who reckons on the end of the other remember the quote "such is taken who believed to take"?
The word end is never a certainty.
