Splits is a meditation on movement, suspension, and the quiet tension of the body underwater. This triptych captures the essence of a woman performing splits beneath the water’s surface, where form dissolves into fluidity and the boundaries between the body and its surroundings blur. The deep blues and muted tones evoke the weightless expanse of water, while the central panel suggests both the stretching of limbs and the unseen forces of resistance…
