Marwan Elgamal is an artist based in Egypt whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Drawing from history, mythology, pop culture, archetypes, personal memory, and nature, his works are imbued with a fluid interchangeability between all of these elements. Through his art, Elgamal attempts to address "what lies beyond" and what is "buzzing underneath". He primarily creates with acrylics and oils on canvas.
