About this artwork
This painting evolved over a period of time. I wanted to create a painting that could represent immigrants who have come to America throughout history. Many of them came as slaves and traveled far and wide to the New World. What an adventure it was and still is today to try to find a new home in a new country. I hope the viewer can hear my voice, as I desired to represent the world in this colorful painting.
