“At the Heart of the Spirit IV”
The fourth in a suite of four abstract works, At the Heart of the Mind IV is painted entirely transparently, revealing a rich spatial depth.
It extends the reflection on the balance between science and nature, and the impact of human intervention - sometimes beneficial, sometimes harmful.
The work also reminds us of the fragility of nature and our duty to preserve it.
On a personal level, this sequel was born out… of health issues. I had to experiment and transform my way of working, in a process of both healing and regaining my self-confidence. Health, like nature, can also be fragile.
At the heart of the mind IV thus symbolizes understanding, adaptation and the vital impulse towards a certain form of healing.
A play of colors, movements, contrasts and transparencies of transformed energy.
From this corpus, this work can be acquired alone, as a duo, triptych or quadriptych.
