Colors that intermingle, an energy that escapes. We need to free ourselves from the sand and black lava on which, layer after layer, we dilute the paint. The light is released at the back. We play with contrasts.

Maryse Kriloff is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Morocco and Switzerland. For her, abstraction is a means through which she gives free rein to her thoughts and emotions. Favoring "colors that vibrate", Kriloff's bold compositions speak of freedom, wide-open spaces, mountains, and water. She creates using varying materials, which include binders, pigments, sand, and acrylics on canvas.
