11 February 2013 Pope Ratzinger leaves the pontificate ... in 2009 I had made this painting as a provocation to the Pope's immobility as a charismatic figure and not only ... then reduced to a souvenir, one of the many that are sold in Rome with lots of snow .. what happened next is history ....
