Le personnage principal, une sirène, apparaît à plusieurs reprises dans mon œuvre. Le temps est deux fois plus long qu'aujourd'hui, et l'œuvre est une impression giclée. La lumière qui illumine l'environnement, représentant ainsi l'optimisme et la joie.
The main character, a mermaid, appears repeatedly in my work. The time is twice as long as it is now, and the work is a gicree print.
It's surrealistic in the sense that it's unrealistic. The playing… of the trumpet represents bringing light to the surrounding environment. This represents optimism and enjoyment.

Masao Kanno (Painter, Visual Artist): I was autistic from a young age, which made social interactions difficult, and I was looking for a way to express myself. Inspired by the anti-academic painting of early 20th-century Europe, I thought I might be able to do the same, which became my primary motivation. At the time, I mainly produced pop art, but in recent years, I've been using primary colors a lot and creating many Fauvist-style works. My main concern now is that I only find the motivation to create when I get away from my daily routine and travel.
