About this artwork
This artwork is a merge of two visuals, one covering the outer fields of a maze painted with shades of yellow and the other its inner fields; shades of red, orange as well as gray. This is to induce the feeling of confusion (as it happen when you enter the labyrinth).
These two fields differ also in texture, outer has been applied by the brush, for the inner there has been created a passage with two thick lines of paint on each side inside of which… there has been added spiral (through the whole length of that field) and on top of that the mix of oil paint and turpentine has been poured.

« We can't be perfect. But there's a beauty in trying, especially if it's through art. »
Mateusz Borowski is a painter from the United Kingdom who has exhibited in London. He likens his artistic style to ‘digitalism’, whose characteristics involve the interaction of color, lines, volumes and texture in conjunction with a symbolic narrative which imitates digital aesthetics. One of Borowski’s main influences is the psyche, his own, the individual and the collective. He uses oil on canvas with stencils when creating.
