About this artwork
In this watercolor, I was inspired by the untamed nature and the freedom of color. My intention was to create a dynamic scene in which the elements blend together, conveying feelings of vitality and energy. Every brushstroke and every color choice reflects my passion for experimental and intuitive art. This work of art is sure to bring a powerful and emotionally invigorating atmosphere to any home.
Mathias Schneider, born in Offenburg, is a versatile artist who experiments with media such as oil paints, pastels, and ink. His techniques are characterized by the liberating spontaneity of sotsu-i and the precise immediacy of ippitsu-ga; he constantly oscillates between sketchy freedom and meticulous attention to detail. His works are visual meditations that express the harmony of body and mind, utilizing mystically inspired symbols and metaphors to address a deeper dimension of unity and self-discovery.
