Mathias Tossa is a painter and sculptor based in Benin whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. He describes his art as conveying the inequality of human forces. In his artistic process, Tossa creates with rubber and reclaimed wood bundles that he cuts into varied geometric shapes and glues together. For him, these materials are symbolic of unequal systems.
