This canvas belongs to the "Neighborhoods" series, a series made up of images of peri-urban landscapes corroded by traces of paint, abstract interventions in the figuration.
Through this fusion of expressionism and semi-abstraction, I attempt to capture the ephemeral essence of lived moments. With lively acrylics contrasting with dull hues, I created a scene where reality flirts with the imagination, evoking beauty in everyday banality. The contrast… of the fiery colors and the tranquility of the landscape arouses emotion, inviting introspection. This work is intended to be a hymn to the sublimation of the banal.
