About this artwork
I live in Spain, by the sea, in a town called Sitges. It is small, but intense in terms of emotions and feelings.
I love this place, and it is largely responsible for my inspiration when it comes to painting. The dancing, the Latin music, the scent and colour of the Mediterranean Sea, the lively tapas dinners with my friends, the long walks under the pine trees, swimming naked under the moonlight, driving around curves with the music playing really… loud while singing and shouting at the same time, dancing in the summer rain, the salty kisses, the carnival, the love stories, the boat rides, the picnics on the beach, and so much more.
When I paint, all those memories and sensations flow through me, and I express them in my paintings.
My paintings are an invitation to travel, dream, imagine and feel alive.
They are stories made of colors.

Before I started painting, I wanted to be a writer. I love short stories and poetry in particular, knowing how to express something with few words to give space to the reader's imagination. Painting and the visual arts have this in common with poetry: they leave the artist in the background and the observer is also the creator.
I am fascinated by asymmetrical figures, imperfect edges, and ordered chaos. Abstract art has its own alphabet, using colors, shapes, and textures to tell a universal and at the same time totally personal story.
I was born in France, but my family moved to Spain when I was a teenager. I now live in a coastal town called Sitges. There I find the main source of my inspiration, I draw on adventures, sensations and feelings and I express them in my work. I play with different media such as watercolour, acrylic, spray paint and pastels to create stories made with colours.
