About this artwork
This work represents a further evolution of previous works created with 3D printing and subsequent manual interventions. For Aeolia, I was inspired by a trip I took a few years ago to the Aeolian Islands archipelago in Sicily. In particular, climbing the island of Vulcano left me with indelible memories of the black rocks, the yellow-green sulfur, and the gray ash, which I wanted to recreate here.
