About this artwork
In this work, the figure seems bent by the weight of time, hunched and almost forgotten in the space around her. The dark tones and violent color contrasts evoke the shadow of abandonment, the loneliness of those who walk on the margins, invisible to the eyes of others.
Yet, among the broken lines and patches of light, one senses an intact dignity, a silent strength that endures. It is the wisdom of a lifetime, engraved in the folds of the body… and in the memory of the world. The work thus becomes a tribute to the resilience of the human being: fragile, wounded, but never completely defeated.

I have been active on the international art scene since 1999. My work has been selected and integrated by high-profile institutions, galleries, brands, and contexts globally, including Louis Vuitton, Henkel Schwarzkopf, Crédit Agricole, Bobst, JW Marriott Cannes, La Biennale di Venezia, and Galleria Cavaciuti Milano.
In 2005 I exhibited at the Stelline Foundation in Milan, marking the official entry of my works into the market with an institutional listing. I participated in the 51st and 53rd Venice Biennale, the Beijing International Art Biennale (2010) and the New Narrative for Europe, a congress of the European Commission.
Between 2023 and 2024, I received a Certificate of Artistic Merit from the Pinacothèque de Luxembourg and was selected as the Italian representative at the EVA – European Visual Arts Gallery. Since 2025, I have been part of the NNC Gallery London Project – VWORLD Europe.
I live in Parma. My work operates internationally.
