About this artwork
The artist was observing all the people walking past each other whilst he was at the Tate Modern. He observed these two individuals who noticed each other whilst enjoying the art. They started to make more and more eye contact and it seemed like a connection was made - somehow it felt they were dancing with each other.
This is what the two shapes in the piece. A moment in time where two paths cross. In this case, the situation has a positive effect… on the individuals, hence the choice of orange
