Maude Ovize is an experienced artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Her distinctive figurative works often portray her subjects in water, as she believes that, "water is a matrix of life that allows the revelation of light, reflecting hidden worlds". In addition, Ovize feels that water is also a threshold, a passage from the inside to the outside, from the submerged to the underground. She most often creates with acrylics and oils on canvas.
