About this artwork
In my paintings "Rust and Moss", I try to convey the poetics of aging and metamorphosis through plays of light and shadow. Rust becomes a silent tale of the passage of time, while moss gives a touch of life and rebirth in a context of decay.
Through this artistic series, I try to arouse emotions and reflections on the incessant cycle of life and death, on the intrinsic beauty of the transformations that we often overlook. I hope that those who… observe my paintings can grasp the poetry hidden behind the rust and moss, and rediscover a connection with the nature that surrounds us.
