About this artwork
Irregularly, I dream of a train traveling through an unfamiliar landscape, past a stately row of trees. Usually, the train passes me by, but sometimes I'm inside. In an empty compartment. I find it rather peaceful. It has green leatherette-upholstered benches with a chrome handle on the edge of the backrest for standing passengers to hold on to. But, well, there isn't one. I usually look outside, because it's impossible to read on such a bumpy ride.…
Apparently, the final destination is my house, but I can't remember ever getting off
