« It's how to catch the rhythm of daily surroundings. »
Max Baris is a Netherlands painter focused on urban landscapes and industrial objects. His work explores how urban structures present differently between various cities. Painting in oil on canvas, his works suggest or show the presence of people, though inactivity and emptiness reign. Baris takes you to distant destinations, inviting you to fantasize and look behind the paint.
