About this artwork
Canada-NL is a little painting of a small piece of nature called Canada. Don’t ask me why, but it is there. I know the place and so I made a small painting of it at location. Acrylic on cardboard, well protected with UV varnish, in a frame, ready to hang.

Max De Winter is a dedicated Dutch artist who has exhibited his work nationally. Committed to creating visual spectacles, he rejects strict messages and theories to welcome the acts of fantasizing and imagining as his only intentions. Working within abstraction, with occasional recognizable elements, he composes paintings that are striking in their simplicity but nonetheless full of infinite contained stories.
