About this artwork
After seen the movie of Pennebaker about Bob Dylan I tried to express what it would look like. Don’t look back! And as always I came out completely wrong. A portrait frontwise, trying to look back. Very gymnastic she is. Used some surface structure to get the right atmosphere. Stretched on aluminium bars, signed front and back, ready to hang. Comes with a certificate.

« I do practically nothing, which keeps me enormously busy! »
Max De Winter is a dedicated Dutch artist who has exhibited his work nationally. Committed to creating visual spectacles, he rejects strict messages and theories to welcome the acts of fantasizing and imagining as his only intentions. Working within abstraction, with occasional recognizable elements, he composes paintings that are striking in their simplicity but nonetheless full of infinite contained stories.
