About this artwork
Seabed on wood board reinforced with eposy resin with natural elements imitating corals,
Deep Sea
Here in the deepest abyss
Lies the fading light
Light beams pierce the absolute darkness
Life tries to capture and synthesize the little light that remains and reaches us.
Everything here in the abyssal zones requires twice the effort of every creature for its survival.
But life finds a way despite the difficulties.
The corals do not lose their chromatic… appearance, and the species that nest here have fully adapted.
The earth pulsates and welcomes every living being regardless of climatic conditions or complex and seemingly inert ecosystems; everything follows a constant evolutionary process.
I see the last rays of sunlight fall, and against the absolute gloom, the light stands out like no other.
And it makes me wonder: When does the light shine brightest? In total darkness?
Let us learn from this and live our lives accordingly.
