About this artwork
Max Waterer is a multidisciplinary artist.
Fusing painting with poetry, his narrative-based compositions explore varying themes such as seasonal changes, the galaxy, sound, rhythm, movement, and cyclical harmony. In his artistic practice, Waterer employs diverse materials, which are determined by his thought processes, subjects, and objectives for each piece.
This artwork has been painted on canvas using acrylic, oil and ink.
Using the sun light… at all times of the day it has allowed the composition to run freely with the angle of rays coming through the windows and doors.
The poem assigned to this piece is as follows -
Autumn sun
As the forest declares,
The light shines,
These trees are bare,
Into the mind,
It is the truth we find.
To be alive in the hearts we strive,
As the colours are there,
Walking towards,
Hand in hand,
The light,
It comes from the left.
