About this artwork
when i was still a student at the art academy, i painted a lot outside. The picture shows the Feldherrnhalle, a classicist loggia at the southern end of Odeonsplatz in the old town of Munich.

The painter, Maxim Fomenko, who now lives in Nuremberg, was born in Pyatigorsk, Russia, in 1981, where he graduated as a graphic designer in 1996. He came to Germany at the age of 22 and began developing his own ironic style at the Nuremberg academy of arts, where he finished his studies in 2012 as a master student.
