About this artwork
Double Elvis from the work of Andy Warhol. The fact of having made it in a can of coca cola adds a popular dimension to the original work that, I hope, Mr. Warhol would not have denied ;-) The cans of coca cola were cut with shears then methodically glued. Different layers of polyurethane resin have been applied... A "pop" work that will bring an original touch to its interior...

Maxime Ledieu is a multidisciplinary artist based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by pop art, comics, cinema, and rock music, his diverse works explore color, movement, femininity, "the solar side", as well as the antagonism between violence and innocence. Ledieu's painterly compositions are most often created with acrylics and collage on wood or cardboard. In his sculptural pieces, he favors recycled materials such as soda or beer cans.
