A hymn to love... Mickey carried through the air by a heart-shaped balloon. Cutting of the Mickey in a can of coca cola (with shears). Background in acrylic paint and the whole is covered with polyurethane resin, just like the ball.
« By nature, I try to bring color into people's lives! »
Maxime Ledieu is a multidisciplinary artist based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by pop art, comics, cinema, and rock music, his diverse works explore color, movement, femininity, "the solar side", as well as the antagonism between violence and innocence. Ledieu's painterly compositions are most often created with acrylics and collage on wood or cardboard. In his sculptural pieces, he favors recycled materials such as soda or beer cans.
