Maya Mattes is a German painter who has exhibited her works in numerous solo and group events throughout Germany. Her paintings reflect the life and the characters of big cities in an unusual and often surreal manner. Mattes employs a mixed media language technique in the creation of her bold compositions using acrylics, on canvas or wood. She paints solely using spatulas.
