In mijn olieverfschilderij heb ik een tafereel vastgelegd dat zowel eenvoud als complexiteit uitstraalt. Met realisme als stijl, inspireert het werk tot reflectie over het alledaagse - het transformeren van eenvoudige objecten in een diepere esthetische ervaring. De metalen glans van de vijzel en stamper contrasteert met de organische texturen van de walnoten, wat een rustieke warmte aan elke ruimte toevoegt en tegelijkertijd aanzet tot gedachtes…
