About this artwork
Grace is a resolutely modern work enhanced by a frame painted in gilding and matte black. The entire work is constructed as an installation: The frame of the canvas is fixed to a wooden board painted matt black which is itself fixed to the American box. This modus operandi brings depth and character to the production. He magnifies the work of the background and its lightness but also the realization of the portrait and its multiple turquoise black…
contrasts.
Grace is a tribute to women, to their strength and gentleness, but also an invitation to dream and introspection.
