About this artwork
New for Mélane who took advantage of the second period of confinement in October 2020 to train in welding with the artist sculptor Jean François André.
This sculpture made of iron & galva (galvanized steel) is the very first of the artist! She wanted to transcribe here in volume one of her existing trees in her paintings (see Series V / Coup de Vent).
A logical continuation of his poetic and dreamlike universe, The Butterfly Tree is light,… airy and colored in shades of turquoise (painted with fine acrylic).
This medium-sized sculpture, treated against oxidation and varnished, will easily find a place in your interior.
