About this artwork
The red technological Demon stands as the incarnation of Ahriman, the force described by Steiner that imprisons man in matter and seduces him with the illusion of technological power. The red that envelops him is not just color, but a fiery vibration: a flame that devours and corrodes.
In my vision, it's not a traditional monster, but a hybrid of flesh and metal, a living architecture of circuitry and digital nerves. Its glowing eyes don't see:… they absorb consciousness, empty the soul.
This work neither glorifies nor condemns: it is a warning. It shows the threshold we cross, when technology becomes a dark power and a mirror of our shadows. Looking at it means questioning ourselves: remain prisoners or transform the demon into consciousness.

Francesco Cattivelli is a painter, sculptor, and digital artist, with a background in profound inner exploration and study of sacred and esoteric texts. He uses techniques ranging from acrylic and oil on canvas to metal and wood sculptures, also incorporating digital printing; his style combines symbolism, geometry, and technological influences in a continuous metamorphosis. His works are charged with tension, revealing the polarity between man and machine and inviting us to explore new forms of awareness and beauty beyond the human.
