Melissa Renee began her career in the beauty industry as a color specialist, with her vibrant works being reflective of this expertise. The American painter's love of water is expressed through her seascapes. Renee favors the use of resin in her compositions for its reflective properties, as well as its malleability. She uses a heat gun and torch to manipulate the medium and mixes various inks, micas, pastes, and powdered pigments in the creation of her compositions.
