The original Ocean Series was based on a dream.
There was a sense that I had to paint it as large as possible to recreate the experience.
Lately the artist has been trying to create smaller versions.
The question is how to capture the vastness of the Ocean and the sensations that emerge from viewing it.
She is still trying to recreate the essence of the dream.
This is part of a diptych, however each canvas stands on its own.

US painter Melora Walters' first experience with art is also her first memory: drawing in the sand with a stick.
