MENNATO TEDESCO

« Rather attentive to social dynamics, my characters amplify a marked irreverence towards the behaviors induced by consumerism and contemporaneity. »
Mennato Tedesco is an experienced artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Greece. For him, reality represents a theme of fundamental inspiration, as well as the human figure, "with its contemporary weaknesses". Creating in a style that traces its origina back to modernist figurative neo-expressionism, Tedesco's distinctive compositions are translated through oils and tempera on canvas.
