Every time I enter an abstract canvas, I step into an adventure guided only by intuition. This time, it led me to a place that appears empty, yet it is not a void of waiting but a space of presence—expansive, quiet, and deeply serene. A promise of dawn, where nothing is decided but everything begins to exist. This piece opens the series I am currently exploring, and it brings dynamic harmony, calm, and a reflective atmosphere to any space.

Mercè Domènech Ferret, born in Barcelona, is an interior architect turned painter, shaped by her extended stay and experiences in Cuba.
Her work is deeply influenced by the luminous landscapes she has inhabited — the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and currently the French Provence — as well as the emotional landscapes that move within her.
Her paintings, infused with Mediterranean-Caribbean warmth and vitality, radiate peace, joyful clarity, and soulful freshness.
