About this artwork
Gone are the days of unbiased reporting and no hashtag better describes the shit that projects from journos’ mouths than this one. Don’t squeal, I didn’t paint my own shit for this series – instead, I sculpted a model of it out of clay and I photographed my model to utilize the image for the purpose of silk-screen printing, overlayed with free-hand painting and silver leaf.
(This painting is currently un-stretched to minimize freight damage and… it is acrylic and fluorescent paint with silver leaf on white primed 12oz polyester/cotton canvas. I recommend that it be stretched on 2 or 3cm stretcher bars.)
