About this artwork
A woman is lost in thought in a garden full of hydrangea flowers. She loves flowers and loves gardening. Flowers are in full bloom, and butterflies fly between flowers to create beautiful scenery.
The colored hydrangeas were finely colored with acrylic paint, and the edges were drawn with gold, silver, acrylic pens. The delicate expression of the woman's emotions is expressed by hair, soft hand gestures, and clothing patterns, and butterflies decorated… with fabric add a sense of life to the spring day.
'In the garden' series is the daily life and painting of self-portraits of an artist who majored in horticulture in college. Loving growing flowers and plants, she made a small garden in her house and waters and cares for every day. Her daily life becomes an work of art through painting, and her artwork is an extension of her daily life.
She hopes that everyone who see the painting will also enjoy a happy daily life.
