Michaël Relave is an established French painter with international exposure. Hi work balances figuration and fantasy, evoking the decorative arts as well as the psychedelic. His paintings include references to his religious upbringing and are deeply influenced by his love of cartoons. His characters are often imagined mythological beings inspired by gods and icons from various religions. Above all, his work imbues openness and happiness. He is a graduate of l’École des Beaux Arts in Lyon.
