In meiner Arbeit fange ich die Stille und die erhabene Ruhe eines Winterwaldes ein. Mit Ölfarben und impressionistischen Techniken habe ich versucht, die weiche Decke des Schnees auf den Zweigen und die stille Atmosphäre eines versteckten Häuschens zu vermitteln. Die Kühle der Farben und das Spiel von Licht und Schatten bringen eine besinnliche Stimmung in jeden Raum, die zum Nachdenken und Träumen einlädt.

Painter and print-maker Michael B. Sky was born and raised in Poland, but is now based in Germany. In 2017 he won first place in the portrait category of the American Art Award in Los Angeles. Sky is excited by the combinations of elements, surfaces and colors to form objects that enable him to show himself to the world. Passionate about technology, mathematics, and the natural sciences, Sky's work ranges from pictorial constructions, to idiosyncratic portraits, to photo-realistic landscape paintings, to wood and lino-cuts.
