About this artwork
The first work of the new series Disrupted figurescapes. The Corona summer of the 1920s is shown. The people are realistically portrayed. Bajer wants to depict the distractedness of today's world through the disrupted elements. The appearance of the subject is rearranged and gives the picture new meanings and associations. The image also contains collage-like elements and abstract areas in which he works a lot with effects and distinctive brushstrokes.

Michael Bajer is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in the United States.
