About this artwork
One of the first works in the Disrupted Things series. Mike Bajer wants to portray the beauty and realism of the particular things that surround or occupy him. The appearance of the subject is rearranged, made more interesting in order to create access for the viewer and to give him various intuitive and personal meanings and associations. Rody is his son's hopping horse that is currently used very often at home.

Michael Bajer is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in the United States. In addition, his art has been featured in publications such as the Sueddeutsche Zeitung and the Art of Watercolour Magazine. Fascinated by both people and nature, for Bajer, the connection between the two is one of the most powerful relatiosnhips that can be expressed through art. He describes his distinctive style as "disrupted realism".
