Patagonia is an extraordinary geographical region in South America, governed by Argentina and Chile.
Michael always wanted to visit this great, amazing place, but he didn't get round to it!
That's why he decided to paint at least a Patagonia artwork, still hoping to see the lakes , the fjords, rainforest, glaciers, desserts, tablelands and steppes!
The name Patagonia comes from the word patagon and was used by Magellan 1520 to describe the nativ… tribes of the region.

Michael Knepper is an experienced artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, Sweden, and China. Oscilating between realism, hyper-realism, and pop art combined with abstract motifs, his distinctive works are all imbured with messages and symbolism. In his artistic process, Knepper most often creates with acrylics and oils on canvas.
