Peeping Mickey – Box seat in the keyhole
Who would have thought that behind Mickey's eternally squeaky-clean facade lurks a genuine voyeur? Through a golden, oversized keyhole, we catch a glimpse of Jessica Rabbit, who, in her fiery red glitter dress, defies all the laws of anatomy. But the real spectacle sits below in the frame: Mickey Mouse himself! Completely relaxed, he lets his giant yellow shoes dangle and grins so… innocently at the world, as if to say: "I'm just holding the door open!" Not a trace of guilt towards Minnie. A wonderfully subversive pop art painting that proves: even the most well-behaved mouse in the world sometimes trades cheese for pure vaudeville!

I was born in 1964 and live and work near Koblenz. My grandfather taught me the basics of oil painting as a child. I have dedicated myself to art since 1996. The old masters influenced my photorealism.
Initially, I designed motifs for art publishers. A commission to portray the classic cars of a car collector led me to automotive art, Formula 1, and its sponsors. My works have been exhibited in Europe and the USA.
A Donald Duck painting opened the world of Pop Art to me. Since then, I've combined realism, comics, and humor, and asked myself: "What if...?"
I combine unusual elements and tell stories that the viewer can continue. One special technique is painting on puzzle pieces, whose structure becomes part of the artwork.
Humor is important to me. My pictures are meant to make people smile, marvel, and think.
